10am: After hiring a bike from the Tourist Office, I set off on the Langres to Auberive circuit. After crossing the Blanchefontaine tree-lined avenue, I follow the Voie Verte path to Flagey, where I take the road to the village of Aujeurres. Here, I take a refreshing break at the Peûte-Bête fountain. I then continue on to Auberive and take the opportunity to visit the imposing Cistercian abbey. At the end of the visit, I decide to stay for lunch at the Auberge du Palais Abbatial. After a hearty meal, I set off again through the Haut-Marnais countryside, passing through a number of small villages before taking a well-earned break on the banks of Lac de la Mouche. I finished my day at leisure by taking the green route.
