An ancient place of pilgrimage and former Benedictine priory, the present church dates from the 13th century: a single, spacious nave, a projecting transept and a seven-sided apse. It is well lit by tall windows. In 1763, the nave was shortened by two bays and covered with a wooden vault.

The church also features a 9th-century crypt: two rows of columns with archaic capitals define three narrow naves with groin vaults. In the choir, a chancel panel decorated with knotwork, stone (9th century). Virgin and Child (the base of the statue depicts scenes from the lives of the twin saints), bas-relief of the three children in the furnace, stone (17th century).

Listed as a Historic Monument on 7 September 1892 and 9 July 1909.
