9am: I descend the plateau to reach the canal between Champagne and Burgundy below. I follow the canal as far as Rolampont where, after a short break on the banks of the Marne, I follow the road to the famous archaeological remains. I arrived in Faverolles and decided to visit the archaeological museum, where the finds from the Gallo-Roman mausoleum that I'd found a little further on were on display. Once the visit was over, I decided to have a picnic on the tables provided just in front of the museum. After a bite to eat, I set off again towards the archaeological site of the Gallo-Roman mausoleum. Here, a tour awaits me via the themed markers that line the site in the middle of the forest. I set off again through the Haut-Marnais countryside before taking a final break at Lac de la Mouche. Finally, I end my day gently by following the green route.
