A "transport-leisure" mode that combines sport and tourism!
The cyclo-rail is 12 km of railway track to pedal between Andelot and Briaucourt. It's a unique way to get around the region, with plenty of fun and relaxation to share with family and friends...
Starting your tour at the station in Chantraines, a neighbouring commune of Andelot, built on a meander of the Rognon, you're off to discover a verdant region, rich in its past. For history buffs, the Neolithic site of Fort Bevaux in Blancheville (at the start of the route) will satisfy your expectations. The Andelot viaduct spans the Rognon and offers a magnificent panorama, including the 13th-century church of Saint-Louvent.
2 routes:
- Chantraines -> Andelot: 11 km round trip
- Chantraines -> Briaucourt: 13 km round trip
Set in a wooded park, the 3 Vallées Cycle Trail also has a children's play area, a refreshment area (selling cold drinks and ice creams) and a petanque area. An arboretum has been created along the Chantraines-Andelot route and a conservatory orchard on the theme of pome fruit is located at Chantraines station.
