A ‘transport and leisure’ activity combining sport and tourism!

The cycle-rail is a 12 km stretch of railway track to cycle along between Andelot and Briaucourt. It’s a unique way to explore the region, guaranteeing relaxation and good cheer to share with family or friends...

Starting your route at Chantraines station, in the village neighbouring Andelot and built on a bend in the River Rognon, you’ll set off to explore a lush, green region steeped in history. For history buffs, the Neolithic site of Fort Bevaux in Blancheville (at the start of the route) is sure to delight you. The Andelot viaduct, which you’ll cross, spans the River Rognon and offers a magnificent view where you can see, amongst other things, the 13th-century Saint-Louvent Church.

2 routes:
- Chantraines -> Andelot: 11 km return
- Chantraines -> Briaucourt: 13 km return

Set within a wooded park, the 3 Vallées cycle-rail route also features a children’s playground, a refreshment area (selling cold drinks and ice cream) and a pétanque court. An arboretum has been created along the Chantraines–Andelot route, and a heritage orchard dedicated to pome fruits is located at Chantraines station.
