Chantraines Church is a building with an elongated plan. It comprises a single-nave church with two bays (one with a flat ceiling and the other with a groined vault). Its chancel, dating from the 12th century (though the vaulting was later rebuilt), has a single bay covered by a groined vault and a flat chevet. The nave and the bell tower (slate-roofed and attached to the north side of the nave) were built in the 18th century. In the 12th century, the bell tower was probably situated above the cross-vaulted bay of the nave.
