This 46km route takes you along two quiet valleys in the Haute-Marne region: the Aujon de la Renne and the Brozé.
Before you set off or on your return, take the time to visit the Moulin de la Fleuristerie, home to the silk flower industry since 1903. Today it is a unique site, the last remaining centre in France for the production of pistils, petals, leaves and fruit for the manufacture of flowers and floral creations.
Leaving Orges, a small pass leads to Braux-le Châtel and its Gallo-Roman fountain.
Further on, take in the beauty of the little village of Montsaon, before joining the Renne valley.
Follow the course of the river and its string of small villages. Finally, head up the Aujon valley from Maranville, just a stone's throw from the Aube department, to return to Orges.
