D'Auberive au Val-des-Choues

10am: departure by bike for the "D'Auberive au Val-des-Choues" tour. After visiting the Cistercian abbey at Auberive, I take the road through the Amorey forest to the pretty village of Recey-sur-Ource, in the Côte d'Or. Here, I allow myself a little break at the old wash-house... I'm then in the heart of the national park, in the middle of the Châtillonnais forest, where I make a diversion to the imposing Val-des-Choues abbey, lost in the middle of this green setting. The rest of my route takes me past the Mârots ponds before returning to the Haute-Marne and making a final diversions to the Etuf waterfall.
