Situated in the heart of the village of Arbot, the church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens is set in an enchanting landscape, with the river Aube flowing gently past. Although its current spire dates from the 19th century, the church of Saint-Pierre-ès-Liens jealously preserves traces of its Romanesque defensive architecture: loopholes, corbels, etc. (fortified church).

Inside, a set of rib vaults dating from the 12th and 13th centuries leads to a magnificent choir with a flat chevet pierced by a triplet and an oculus walled up in the 18th century. The high altar surmounted by an altarpiece (18th-century Langrois workshop) is the work of sculptor Antoine Besançon.

The western portal and sacristy date from the late 18th century. The original spire and its four belfries were replaced in 1830. The spire was rebuilt in 1980 and the nave roof in 1975. The building has defensive features, including a brace over the door and archways in various places. The building is remarkable for the fact that it has undergone very few alterations since it was completed in the 13th century.
