In the Rue Saint-Didier, heading towards Rolampont, just outside the village and opposite the mill on the right, we will soon see the ancient Fontaine Saint-Didier, named after the patron saint of the parish, who is depicted at the base of the white limestone cross erected over the fountain. The monument was completely remodelled in 1886, as can be seen on the base of the cross, which was erected by Françoise Déchanet to commemorate the recent death of her husband, François Foucaut, who died on 22 December 1885.| The fountain was restored again in 2002 at the instigation of the fire brigade, which was keen to revive the local vernacular heritage, with the help of motivated volunteers, all financed by the proceeds of almost twenty years of fairs. To mark the occasion, the vault was topped with lava stones and the floor paved. Today, this flower-filled, tree-lined site, still equipped with a table and two benches, is a pleasant place for cyclists and walkers.
