The latest of Auberive's Nature Huts, the Cabane de la Bécasse was built by a group of young people in 2016 and nestles between forest and marsh on a hillside to the south-east of the village of Praslay. It is built using local materials: wood, straw and a green roof. Its terrace offers a pleasant view over a large open valley where deer, foxes and stags come in the evening. You can reach this little corner of paradise from Auberive, in the company of donkeys. It is freely accessible (turn left at the entrance to the village, then 800 m to the left, on a small path on the hillside). Fires are strictly forbidden around the huts. Bivouacs are possible.
