A panoramic and bucolic walk around Orges :
Starting from the Orges village hall, this 9km trail offers a pleasant stroll through woodland, views and local heritage. Easily accessible (around 2hrs 15mins' walk), the route climbs gently to the wooded heights of the village, where leafy trees and pines follow one another. All along the way, there are remarkable views over the Aujon valley, the village of Orges, Bricon and the Colombey-les-Deux-Églises memorial. Passages along the edge of fields alternate with paths through undergrowth, sometimes dotted with discreet crosses or relics. On arrival, don't miss a visit to the Moulin de la Fleuristerie, the village's jewel of craftsmanship: this unique site perpetuates the manufacture of silk floral accessories using the motive power of the Dhuys. It's a family outing that combines nature, craftsmanship and rural charm, the perfect way to escape for an afternoon.
