A walk through woods, meadows and viewpoints:
Starting from the church in Changey, this pretty 7km loop (approx. 1? hours' walk) invites you to enjoy an accessible walk full of discoveries. The path climbs gently up to the Mont-Vengé plateau, where a picnic area awaits you with a breathtaking view over Langres. The route also passes through the Bois de la Montagne, a dry grassland rich in flowers and orchids, perfect for those curious about nature. The path takes you to the statue of the Virgin, an emblematic site on the plateau. You'll pass by two fortifications that are representative of Langrois' 19th-century military heritage. On the way back, take in the uninterrupted panoramic views before a leisurely descent to the village. This is an ideal family hike, combining forest walks, remarkable flora and traces of local history, all in a peaceful, natural setting. To finish your walk, you can make a diversion to Lac de Charmes, where you can relax and swim to your heart's content!
