Changey church is an elongated building. It has a single nave with a ceiling, a bell tower with a chapel at its base, a spiral staircase with a conical zinc roof and a single-span choir ending in a flat chevet. The nave of Saint-Rémi appears to have been built in the 12th century, while the choir and fore-choir date back to the 13th century. The south side chapel and bell tower were added at the end of the 16th century. The choir and bell tower have been listed on the Inventaire Supplémentaire des Monuments Historiques since 10 October 1927 and 8 October 1942 respectively.
