The Montavoir trail, starting out from Auberive, invites you to take a gentle plunge into nature in the Haute-Marne region. Just under 11 km long, this signposted route takes you through the magnificent Auberive state forest. Follow the GR7, walk along ancient stone walls, cross the charming Griselin bridge and meet the Sika deer and fallow deer in the game enclosure, complete with picnic shelter, play area and bowling green. Between streams, lush green valleys and wooded paths, it's a peaceful and rewarding walk, perfect for sharing an intimate moment with the family. And why not round off the outing with a cultural break at nearby Auberive Abbey? A great idea for an outing combining nature, heritage and relaxation.
