Situated to the south of the village, in a beautiful coomb bordered by forests, the Chemins de Traverse site offers unusual accommodation in the form of 2 large nomad tents (6 m in diameter), fitted out and installed on wooden platforms.
For an immersive stay in the heart of nature, our tents welcome you on the edge of the forest. Lulled by the hooting of the owls and soothed by the tranquillity of the place, enjoy our tents, coiled up in the middle of nature, in the heart of the Chemins de Traverse eco-domain.
The environment is very natural: the Auberive forest is magnificent, with its many footpaths and hiking trails, some of which will take you to the Auberive nature huts. The nearby stream and gorges of the Clavin are a great place to explore and get away from it all. All in the heart of the future National Park of the deciduous forests.
At the entrance to the Chemins de Traverse site, the Maison Forestière de Charbonnière welcomes you and offers a small lounge with wifi for those who want to stay connected!
If you're looking for a 100% nature weekend for two, a week with friends or family, or accommodation the day before or on your return from your hike... we can offer you this experience in one of our 2 nomad tents! Each is comfortably furnished: 3 or 4 beds (with sheets and duvets), beechwood coffee table with stools, kitchen utensils with a small 2-burner gas stove, outdoor table with benches, deckchairs and a small wood-burning stove for cosy evenings.

1 private outdoor kitchen area under canvas with a 2-burner gas stove, full set of crockery and cooking utensils. Storage lockers. 1 wooden table with benches. 1 hand cart for transporting your belongings. Large living areas around the tent, fire pit with barbecue facilities.

Dry toilets and sanitary facilities outside. A hand cart allows you to transport your belongings from your car parked at the edge of the site.
5 donkeys graze next to the tents, to the delight of young and old alike. They are waiting to accompany you on your walks and carry your belongings.
The environmental management of the Chemins de Traverse eco-domain has been awarded the EUROPEAN ECOLABEL and the Esprit Parc National label.
You will be asked to pay an annual membership fee (€10.58 per household). Chemins de Traverse is a project run by the Ligue de l'enseignement de Haute-Marne, an association for popular education under the 1901 law. As such, to be able to benefit from the services offered by the association, users must pay their annual subscription (1 subscription per household).
