In the canton of Poissons, starting at Montreuil sur Thonnance, you'll find the route des lacets de Mélaire. It is the rugged nature of this route that has earned the site the name "Little Switzerland".
You can also visit "La Petite Suisse" after passing through Poissons on your way from Joinville.
The calm of the valley through which the road passes to reach the hills pierced with mine holes, the remains of iron ore extraction, makes it easier to retain images of the superb village of Poissons, which is undergoing constant renovation.
