For associations (club sessions all year round): ages 8 and up.
- Initiation: Discovery of the sport and initiation to autonomy (climbing without being supervised by the club).
- Improvement in "leisure" climbing (possibly competition) and training for climbing at great heights (over 50 m).
- Training as a group leader (climbing instructor).
Equipment required: None for beginners and club members. The equipment is made available as part of the supervised sessions (unmarked equipment).
A single length of rope: 24 m maximum.
Supervision by volunteer instructors (federal diploma).
Location :
- On the SAE (climbing wall) at the Gymnase du Lycée professionnel Diderot-Franchises in Langres from September to April, on Wednesday and Friday evenings, and on Mondays from 6pm to 8pm.
- Cliffs at Cohons or Perrancey-les-Vieux-Moulins from April to July, on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings: 50 equipped routes for which there is a guidebook (on sale at the Pays de Langres Tourist Office); the Cohons and Perrancey-les-Vieux-Moulins sites are open to the public. Climbers are solely responsible for their own climbing, unless they are taking part in supervised sessions. Specific climbing licence and insurance recommended.
Important information, following a prefectoral decree:
From 1 January to 30 June, due to the nesting of protected rock species and by municipal decree, access to the cliff is only permitted on Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from 1pm to 7pm. During this period, many routes are no longer accessible for climbing and our friends the dogs are not allowed.
Free access the rest of the year, except during hunting season.
