Facilities for people with reduced mobility:

A “Tiralo”, an amphibious wheelchair designed to help people with reduced mobility get into the water and enjoy it comfortably, is available on the beach at Lac de la Liez. You’ll find it next to the lifeguard’s chair. Ask the beach lifeguard – who can be recognised by their red T-shirt and cap – to use it.
The “Tiralo” is made available exclusively to people with reduced mobility or disabilities who have a companion who will go into the water with them. It is not a recreational item for the general public, but a chair reserved for use by people with mobility difficulties. It is used at the user’s own risk and that of the person(s) accompanying them. The beach lifeguard cannot act as a substitute for the accompanying person; their role is to supervise swimming.
The “Tiralo” may only be used within the designated swimming area. The accompanying person must always be able to touch the bottom to ensure the stability of the bathing chair. It is advisable not to stray more than a few metres from the shore. In the event of improper or unreasonable use, the lifeguard has full authority to stop its use. The “Tiralo” is not a boat but a swimming aid. It must be used under the supervision of an accompanying adult.
The use of a lifejacket is compulsory (lifejackets are provided by the lifeguard).

Safety instructions:

Swimming is only permitted within the swimming areas marked by buoy lines and bounded by red and yellow flags.

Only the presence of a flag on the beach flagpole indicates that a lifeguard is on duty and the swimming conditions:
- green flag: supervised swimming with no apparent danger
- yellow flag: supervised swimming with limited or significant danger
- red flag: swimming prohibited
- no flag: unsupervised swimming; the public swims at their own risk.

The presence of a lifeguard does not exempt individuals from their own responsibility, nor does it exempt parents from their responsibility towards their children.
In the absence of a flag, the public swims at their own risk.
Users must comply with the rules laid down by the municipal by-laws of the relevant local authorities.

Motorhome facilities:
The car parks at Lac de la Vingeanne are designated parking areas. Motorhomes are not permitted to camp there (by lowering the levelling legs) or to set up outdoor equipment (tables, chairs and sun loungers, awnings, etc.).
