Le tour de la Rêpe - PR N°10

A gentle stroll through nature and history at Braux-le-Châtel :
This charming 6 km trail starting from Braux-le-Châtel is ideal for a family outing to discover a peaceful and varied landscape. From the town hall, the path takes you first to the wash-house and Gallo-Roman fountain, witnesses to the village's rich past. You'll then follow some pretty hedge-lined paths through farmland and gentle hills, until you reach the Moussinière plateau. If you take the time to look back, you'll enjoy superb views over the rolling countryside. Further along, a majestic woodland path welcomes young and old alike for a moment of peace and quiet, to the rhythm of birdsong. Depending on the season, anemones, lilies of the valley or roe deer will punctuate this bucolic interlude. The return to the village is via a sunken path and a few vines, the last reminders of the area's wine-growing past. An accessible and rejuvenating outing to be shared in all simplicity.
