Le Râteau - PR N°101

An easy walk through meadows, forest and historical memories:
Starting from the Bourbonne-les-Bains swimming pool car park, this 6.5km loop (approx. 1? hours) is perfect for a family outing. Easy to access and well signposted (blue-yellow), it passes through meadows, woods and quiet lanes. On the way, you'll be rewarded for your initial efforts by a lovely view of the Etang Barrat and the village of Serqueux, before a gentle descent into the Apance valley. A 300 m round trip takes you to the Zeppelin Memorial, which commemorates a unique event in the history of the First World War: the intact capture of a German airship. The path continues through the forest, skirting a stream, crossing a beautiful clearing and returning along the "Chemin de Maître Albert". This varied walk combines nature, history and tranquillity. It's the perfect way to recharge your batteries while enjoying a moment of discovery on foot, horseback or mountain bike.
