La Réserve - PR N°99

A nature trail for all ages:
Starting from the Parc Animalier de la Bannie, this pleasant 6.5km loop (about 2 hours on foot) takes you to the heart of the forests surrounding Bourbonne-les-Bains. The trail, marked out in yellow and blue, winds its way through beech and oak woods and wetter areas where it's not unusual to spot animal tracks. Ideal for a family outing, this varied trail partly follows the GR7 before branching off to explore more peaceful stretches of forest. Picnic areas, hunting huts, observation points... everything you need for a rejuvenating walk. At the start or end of the tour, don't miss a visit to the La Bannie wildlife park: deer, wild boar, fallow deer and birds in aviaries will delight young and old alike. It's an easy, lively walk that's perfect in any season, to get some fresh air and share some green time with the family.
