Just before No. 3 on the left is a barn that is still covered in stone but has lost its doors. The right-hand stone foot on the left is beautifully chamfered to allow hay wagons to enter in days gone by. Note the woven hazel wainscoting on the ceiling, which was used to support the hay weaves in a traditional way that was once widespread, and which has sometimes been replaced by simple hazel poles laid parallel for the same purpose.
