The former canon house on the corner of rue Claude Gillot houses the only example of ancient divinities on a façade in Langres. These are two 19th century terracottas, possibly made in the workshops at Vendoeuvres-sur-Barse (in the Aube department), which were very productive at the time. They depict Mercury and Ceres. The travelling god wears wings on his head, while the goddess of agriculture is crowned with ears of wheat.
