The town house at No. 2 Place de l'Abbé Cordier features a charming corner niche with Gothic decoration. The statue in it represents Saint Mammès, patron saint of the diocese of Langres. The figure is accompanied by his tamed lion and a phylactery bearing the Scriptures. He is holding back his entrails, a sign of his martyrdom.
