Source Saint-Gengoulf

Source Saint-Gengoulf

The Saint-Gengoulf spring is named after the saint who is said to have made the water gush out by striking the ground with his stick in order to water his pack. It is located near the village's old spinning mill, which was powered by a paddle wheel around 1934. The water that powered the wheels did not come from the spring, but from a canal fed by the Joncs stream.
