The Badin spring is much less well known than its sister springs in the Marne, Aube and Meuse rivers, but it is nonetheless very interesting for several reasons. Situated at the foot of a cliff, this spring emerges from a small cavern before giving rise to a succession of small waterfalls and tuffières that you should appreciate, preferably after a good rain shower (or when the snow melts). The greater flow makes for a deafening and refreshing spectacle. The environment around this spring is also very interesting: to the right of the spring, you can see a fault that splits the plateau in two and allows access to the summit via a naturally sloping path between the two walls of this fault. Finally, about ten metres away, still on the right of the spring, you can admire a magnificent monumental oak tree.
