A remarkable resurgence, the source of the Dhuys feeds the Moulin de la Fleuristerie reach and gives rise to the river of the same name. The Ornay spring, located inside the reach, gives power to the river, especially during periods of drought.
Flow variations range from around 0.5m3 to 3m3 per second between summer and winter.
The river flows into the Aujon upstream of the village of Aizanville after 3880 metres of travel through the valley.
