Sentier botanique et animalier d'Audeloncourt

It's a great place to take a family walk, where you can discover most of our region's tree species in the shade of their branches!

It's easy to find this charming little wooded spot where, along a path, numerous animals are hidden (but so poorly) in natural positions. If we managed to see them all, we could count a good forty of them, from the largest (the deer, of course!) to the smallest (the white ermine!) not to mention the many birds perched in the branches of the pines or the pine trees.) not to mention the many birds perched in the branches of the pines or the shady hornbeams or even, like the buzzard in its nest, on a stone base! ... ah, yes, of course! it should be pointed out! ... all these animals are made of cement! ! ... made by Jean Flammarion!

The oldest, the roe deer, perched at the top of its rocks, dominated the Meuse valley, while the surrounding woods had just been cut down, but the prolific vegetation soon grew back and now the shadows cover it, making it more secretive. He was soon joined by many companions: the wild boar, the fearsome lynx, the capercaillie, the badger ... etc ...
