This park, created around 1850, is packed with botanical species including redwoods, cypresses, chestnuts, plane trees and yews. Indeed, the park's initial woodland seems to have been planted with a mixture of deciduous and coniferous trees, both local and introduced, for the sake of collection and aesthetic value.
In addition, the choice of location for individual trees (sequoia, cypress, etc.) and groups of trees (rows of plane trees, black pines, etc.) undeniably adds to the park's landscape value.
It's a great place to take a walk and enjoy the calm atmosphere.
