The rural and historical museum of Voisey, a stronghold of the old Franche Comté region, opens its doors to you 10 km from Bourbonne-les-Bains. It was created in 1989.

From archaeological digs, most of which came from the Saint Evre site at Vaux-la-Douce, to family life, historical and military accounts, farming and rural life, local traditions and skills are on show in a bourgeois house divided into different rooms.

The Voisey Museum is run by ARHAVE (Association de Recherches Historiques et Archéologiques de Voisey et ses Environs).
Visits are led by volunteers from the association, who are keen to share the riches of their village.

When you visit Voisey, you'll also be able to see the 17th-century Prieuré chapel, the remarkable pedimented houses, masterpieces of the master stonemasons, and the magnificent church (listed as a Historic Monument), dedicated to the Nativity of the Virgin Mary, with its 11th-century Romanesque bell tower and 12th-century ribbed nave, contrasted by a monumental 17th-century choir.
Visits can be arranged outside opening hours on request from the association.
Various events are also organised, including exhibitions, tours, lectures and swap meets.
