More than 130 pupils from Voltaire-Moulin de Chaumont and Jonchery schools and Camille Saint-Saëns secondary school in Chaumont created a huge mural as part of a residency programme in schools.
The mural, called "MODO n°40", was made possible thanks to the support of Eltono, an international figure in urban art.

After learning about Eltono's work, and in particular the "MODO" creative process, which combines geometry with chance, the pupils, accompanied by their teachers, set about creating their own "MODO" protocol according to very precise rules: the geometric shapes and colours were imagined by everyone and then drawn at random to define the composition of this gigantic work.

For almost 15 days, the classes took it in turns to paint on the wall of the Moulin-Voltaire school, along the Promenade Berchet in Chaumont, revealing the fruits of their labour.
