Access to the Maquis, in the "Bois de chêne coteau" at a place called the "Combe Vinaigre", is via a forest track opposite the GRT Gaz.s station. A twenty-minute walk will take you to the heart of the forest. Here you will discover the place where Resistance fighters lived and died fighting. Traces of the camp remain, and the peace and quiet of the place would make you forget the tragedy that took place there if it weren't for this stele... An interpretation panel with texts and drawings tells the story of the Maquis. A walk for all the family, where respect and contemplation are combined with the beauty and atmosphere of the undergrowth.
