House no. 19 features a dormer window with a bracketed lintel. This type of lintel is typical of houses from the late Renaissance to the 17th century. The presence of other braced lintels in this street could indicate that its development dates from this period. This architectural detail can be found at no. 23, on the door of a former stable; on the right-hand foot, note the presence of a ring used to tie up animals (cows, bulls and horses). Lastly, at the crossroads between rue du Vernois and rue de la Goulette, below no. 43, there is a pedestrian doorway also featuring a bracketed lintel. From the same spot, one of the last lava roofs in the village can be seen at the far end of the square.
