Beautiful, typical 16th/17th century house with blue shutters and outbuildings on the left. Of these, the left-most barn, with its wooden lintel typical of dwellings on the Langres plateau, has a re-used stone sink on the right-hand jamb with its drain clearly visible. To its right is a small arched doorway typical of the period, which replaced a shed at the entrance that was once covered by a wooden lintel that is still in place.
The house behind the large cross, with its blue shutters, is even more typical of the late 16th century, with its gable on the street and a single storey that are typical of urban features also found in Montsaugeon. With its perfectly superimposed paired windows on the ground and ground floors, the layout is typical of the period, which is further enhanced by the projecting moulded shelf on the first floor. To the right are the steps of a stepped cellar entrance, protected in modern times by a stone aedicula that replaced a now-destroyed domestic oven projecting from the street, the opening of which can still be seen just above this staircase.

This private site can only be viewed from the outside.
