Located in the heart of the Haute-Marne (Châteauvillain), the REZA Centre for Photographic Art – CAP REZA – run by the Maison Laurentine in collaboration with the Ateliers REZA, is a unique institution within the French cultural landscape. Dedicated to the work of the Franco-Iranian humanist photographer REZA, it was established to bring to life an exceptional photographic legacy built up over more than forty years of reporting around the world. Each season, REZA’s archives serve as the starting point for a dialogue with invited contemporary artists. Photographs, texts, installations, visual creations and documentary perspectives come together here to explore the major human challenges of our time.
An art library – Artothèque 52 ROSA BONHEUR – is attached to the centre, thereby contributing to the emergence of a unique artistic and cultural hub in a rural setting.
