This wash-house is unusual in that it shares the same building as the town hall. It thus combines two different functions, the town hall on the first floor and the washhouse on the ground floor. From the outside, passers-by will discover a neat facade of dressed stone. The wash-house is reached by an eight-step staircase, which descends to a lower level than the road. Three round-headed openings let light into the interior, where there are still stone benches and a beautiful basin with rounded corners. Two smooth columns with Doric capitals support the crypt-like cross vaults.
