As you walk down the Rue des Quatre Noyers (formerly known as the Grande Rue), look out on the left for the imposing single-storey town hall building with dormer windows, dated 1845, which was built on the site of an old house demolished the previous year. The new town hall was designed by the architect M. Maitrot from Marey-sur-Tille (Côte d'Or) and was authorised for construction with a few modifications by the prefect on 30 January 1845. Although the façade is stamped "maison commune", it was actually a town hall-school, and the latrines were only built in 1878.
