Located on the Place de la Loge in Chaumont town centre, this mural by CÉZ ART is 12 metres high. It offers a dazzling visual spectacle of sharp contrasts, accentuated by vivid colours.

The mural took 9 days to paint, with many passers-by looking on, curious to see both the technique and the progress of the fresco. Made using stencils, this work of street art will make "Magic Deer", a deer with multiple references, appear day after day. "I wanted to make a totemic creation, like an iconic local emblem (which is what Pop Art is all about) while at the same time winking at the protected natural area that is going to be created around Chaumont, for which the deer will be the reference animal."

Through its figurative creations and access to animal bestiary, CÉZ ART, from Reims, imposes its style and sees nature in a big way. "It's a way for me to symbolically restore a place for nature in the city, for the wild animal in the humanised world. It's not necessarily a committed work, but rather a purely visual, graphic and aesthetic work to do honour to the city of graphic design that is Chaumont."

It's a successful gamble for this artist, who has already completed more than fifteen similar projects in the region.
