Situated at the far end of the courtyard, this monumental quarter-cone-shaped building rests against the cliff, supporting tiers of steps that taper down to the top. In keeping with the fashion for "snail" shaped garden buildings in vogue in the region in the 19th century, the building is equipped with terraces for planters around the perimeter. The whole structure, in the form of a hanging garden, offers visitors a magnificent pyramid of flowers in summer.
