The terraces on the hillside above the village were created in the second half of the 18th century to grow vegetables, vines and fruit. Their spectacular dry-stone retaining walls are sometimes 6 m high. A monumental stone snail dominates the ensemble. The garden features a kitchen garden, a white fruit orchard, a conservatory vineyard and 17th, 18th and 19th century-style trellises. Two cedars of Lebanon, planted around 1828, spread their branches over the terraces and are listed as a Remarkable Tree Group.
