Located at the foot of the wooded hill overlooking the village, the Mazelle mill has lost its wheel but has retained its millstream and waterfall. The mill is a fine example of traditional architecture in the Haute-Marne region,
Les jardins de mon Moulin will give you a chance to escape and dream among the many themed gardens.
Philippe Lefort has designed a vast garden in which water plays a major role. Laid to rest in 2003, the plantings enclose areas freely inspired by different themes: an allusion to the medieval walled garden divided into squares bordered by plessés, a white garden, a water garden, a rose garden, a cloister and grass gardens all follow one another, creating a whole host of surprises.
Come and discover the green cloister, not forgetting the white flower garden, the water garden, the medieval-inspired garden and the grass garden. A fine collection of hostas, perennials, trees and shrubs and hydrangeas will fill you with wonder throughout your visit.
The gardens are full of flowers, with a rich collection of perennials and around 800 peonies.
Numerous aediculae in a variety of architectural styles give structure to the space, while the trees provide volume and shade.
