The Fontenottes spring, nestling in a small green setting, feeds a sump and a wash-house. The water is collected in an open, house-shaped ashlar-roofed aedicule. A dedication is engraved on the right-hand side, giving the date of construction as 26 August 1826. This type of building used to have a stone cross on the ridge, which has now disappeared. The water then flows into a small open-air stone wash-house.
