It all started at school. As part of a study project, we had to come up with a product that didn't exist on the market and develop it from start to finish. After a great deal of research, Champinade was born: a spread made from mushrooms that is as tasty as it is unexpected. We worked on the recipe to optimise the flavours, and tested different ways of eating it. Friends, family, even teachers and the chef were called in to help. The seed was planted, now all we had to do was get it to germinate!
After a few years in the quality department of a major champagne house, the desire to take the initiative and put some taste back on our plates became a real necessity.
So, in September 2025, L'Epicurieuse du Der was born: a traditional canning factory located just a stone's throw from Lac du Der, where each recipe tells a story. In our recipes, there are no preservatives, no additives and no compromises: we like to surprise you with authentic, real recipes. The basis of our production: ingredients selected locally, recipes thought up with love, cooked without fuss and respecting the seasons. The recipes are inspired by childhood memories, travels and now by discussions with my customers.
Whether you prefer sunny spreads, colourful pickles, gourmet terrines or surprising jams, you're bound to find something to enjoy with your family or friends. In the shop, you'll also find products from a range of producers: honey, sweets, nougat, herbal teas, beers, lentils, wines, rum.... all you need to treat yourself while promoting short distribution channels.
In the end, l'épicurieuse du der has just one objective: to pass on the taste for good things, to help you (re)discover authentic recipes, and to create products that make sense both for us who make them and for you who enjoy them.
