L'Emeraude de l'écluse

The GAEC de l'Ecluse was originally a mixed crop and livestock farm run by two brothers.

In 2016, the decision was taken to install a methanisation unit to recycle livestock effluent and, above all, reduce the use of chemical fertilisers. To complete the project, the heat generated by the unit was used to create a spirulina workshop on the farm.
