Evoking the spirit of a garden from the late Middle Ages was the intention behind the design of this enclosure at the foot of the recently restored manor house.
The castle's medieval garden contains over 50 different plant species, including medicinal and aromatic plants, market gardens and an orchard.
The orchard, flower beds and vegetable gardens make up this food garden, which is complemented by the courtyard, the arbour and the cradle of the pleasure garden.
