Adjacent to the church, a former priory and a sculpture garden provide the setting for Aline Bienfait's works.
Marble and bronze combine with the volumes and colours of the plants.
Aline BIENFAIT CULTURAL CENTRE
This project, led by the residents of Cirey-sur-Blaise, has a number of objectives:
- To restore the Jardin d'Aline BIENFAIT, which surrounds the cultural centre, to its former splendour. This green setting will attract a large number of visitors from the Haut-Marnais region and beyond!
- Seek the expert advice of a horticulturist to showcase the remarkable plants chosen by this artist with a green thumb.
- Restore the wooden bridge over the pond in the style of Claude MONET's water lilies. But also the open-air stage, used both as a place for meditation and as a platform for musicians, readings, etc.
The aim of our project is to showcase the work left by the artist through cultural events such as exhibitions, concerts, readings, showcasing local crafts and participatory workshops based on Haut-Marnais culture.
This meeting place in the heart of the village of Cirey-sur-Blaise will bring the artist's work back to life and energise the life of the local community.
