Rectangular wash-house near the round fountain, at the corner of the rue Basse and the rue d'Enfer.
Rectangular washhouse and rinsing basin built in 1905. Washhouses have an important social function. They were the rare places where women could meet and exchange ideas. They were in public use until the arrival of running water in 1965.
