This washhouse in the rue de Glaud, at the foot of the village, is one of the oldest in Fayl-Billot and, like the château fountain, is also thought to be a market hall. It has an old basin where only part of the coping was reserved for washing. It was long used by basket-makers to wet their wicker bundles.
