Like the column fountain not far from the washhouse, the water from the latter spurts out through a spout that emerges from the zoomorphic spout, which also takes the form of the mouth of a lion, often depicted in the region. From this square, moulded base, the water flows into a first outdoor basin before draining into the covered wash-house. The 2-sided roof is supported by a jalousie frame resting on 3 sides of a stone wall and on 2 square, moulded pillars on the 4th side opening onto the street.
