Situated some distance from the village on sloping ground, the Reynel washhouse once made the journey difficult for the washerwomen. In the 19th century, a covered structure replaced the old, dilapidated building, offering greater comfort and protection.
Now perfectly preserved, this monumental wash house is set in lush green surroundings, near the pond, an old mill and the waterfalls of the Ruisseau des Battants. Its façade is punctuated by six large windows and five stone pillars. Inside, there is a rounded basin, a wall fountain, shelves and a drainage channel.
